In 2014 when C2S2 gained nonprofit status, Katy Palfrey was brought on as the first Executive Director and eventually assumed the title of Chief Executive Officer. Katy got introduced into the world of conservation after spending time working in the field of animal reproductive control in search of a non-surgical alternative to spaying and neutering pets. Katy is focused on nonprofit entrepreneurship and business analytics, with the intention of utilizing business principles and open innovation to support endangered species sustainability.
Gavin Livingston joined C2S2 as the SPA Program Manager in 2016. Growing up around exotic animals and interning at the Center for Elephant Conservation inspired Gavin to become further involved with endangered species. Gavin currently manages SPA’s diverse public/ private partnerships in order to reproduce species to ensure their survival into perpetuity and release back into their native range countries.
Jacqueline Weeks was brought on to C2S2 in 2018 as Programs Assistant. Jacqueline has a background in marine biology and got involved in conservation after working on projects for The Nature Conservancy in Hawaii and Georgia. Jacqueline currently supports the organizations’s program champions on various projects to enhance the overall performance of C2S2 programs.
