Full Members are Conservation Centers with large land holdings (more than 500 acres) and access to unique rare animal species and scientific expertise. These centers have an institutional commitment to species sustainability and conservation as a priority, and participate in one or more of C2S2’s initiatives. A representative from the center serves as a voting member on the Board of Directors.
AFFILIATE MEMBERS (formerly Associate Members) are institutions with a commitment to species sustainability and conservation as a priority. A representative from the member institution serves on the Advisory Board.
Large-Scale Collaborations. Expanding your institution’s conservation portfolio through active participation in broad-scale, science-driven initiatives creating assurance populations for the long-term survival of species
Conservation project incubation. Support in building local and regional efforts to save species from extinction
Connecting and collaborating with a multi-stakeholder international network of
conservationists with unique and varied assets and expertise.
Marketing, communications, and advocacy. Spotlighting your conservation efforts and building brand equity with co-branded educational and marketing materials that enhance public engagement and communicate successes.
Professional consultation. Tackling your institution’s most critical issues and opportunities through consultation provided by experts in: Business planning and management consulting; Strategic collection planning for conservation breeding/recovery programs; Reproduction, conservation breeding, and reintroduction science; Research study design and implementation; Data management and analysis; Natural resource management; and Professional development and training.
